Creating "Fun"

When we saw the prompt and the time we had, the idea of creating an arcade based on feeling of competency stood out to us immediately.

We were also interested in using the HTC Vive Trackers in a way that allows players to free their hands when they are playing the games. Attaching the trackers to either waist or ankles became our first option. Then, it came to our mind that we could easily create a multiplayer game with the Vive Trackers without computer networking, if we simply attached one tracker to each person. This became the direction that we were heading, and we were excited about the fun created from the way the players interact with each other.

Now we just needed a theme or a story for it. Because of the time limit, we decided to drop the story aspect and focus on the theme. The game was themed around a hot dog shop featuring a two-headed hot dog. Combining an co-op arcade game with a fun character pushes the fun factor to another level
